This collection is inspired by all the thoughts we have but set aside because they seem too childish. Too unreasonable. Too in the clouds. It is inspired by the glass half full, the depth of the sky at sunset, the quiet of the hillside when the world is asleep and you feel like you’re the only one who’s awake. It is inspired by us, when we were young and careless and not afraid to wonder and allow our imagination to run wild. We close our eyes and fall asleep and sometimes we find ourselves in a place we don’t really understand, with people we may or may not know, doing things we normally wouldn’t do. They say that dreams are just projections of bits and pieces of our reality. But really, they’re a reality of their own. The mind is a powerful thing. A galaxy of chaos and beauty and chemical reactions that, try as we might, we will never completely figure out. There’s reality and there’s imagination. But even our most insane and bizarre thoughts and creations aren’t pulled from nothing. We take bits and pieces from this reality to create another. We do this even subconsciously. Today the world is busy. Constantly racing to get somewhere, fast. We live in a time where patience has become a foreign concept. Mostly, there is no time to take our time with anything. We forget to dream. There is magic in the world, but only the ones who really look with their hearts will find it.
